Ipsy Generation Beauty

Generation Beauty happens a few times a year all over the country and is one of my all tie favorite beauty events to attend. I have attended the Los Angeles based one as well as the San Francisco and New York based events. All of them are a great time, but LA will always hold a special place in my heart, since that’s where it all began.

What is Gen Beauty you ask? It’s basically every girls dream. A giant convention hall filled with all the top makeup and beauty brands not only selling your favorite items at big discounts but also demo-ing new products and giving away freebies! And get this, FULL SIZE products, not your typical sample size that most of us will toss in a drawer and totally forget about.

From luxury to drugstore and everything in between, brands from all over come to the event with beautifully styled booths and fun activities for the attendees. Some of the brands include M.A.C., Maybelline, Pixi, Lancome’, NYX and The Balm just to name a few.

Ipsy also brings in all of the top influences for Meet-N-Greets. Some of my favorites include Gabriel Zamora, Kandee Johnson and Nicole Guerriero.

There is also a great new feature they recently added called “The Beauty Lab” where you can learn hands on from your favorite brands and influencers. Plus take home additional goodies from your class!

Oh and did I mention that purchasing a ticket also includes a giant swag bag of amazing goodies from all the brands in attendance?! YES PLEASE!
